While the subject of this detail set may not be something that hasn't been done before, you can get the I.R. gear in the Night Fighting Panther kit from Dragon and the Steel Wheeled version of the Tamiya Panther, neither come close to this set in terms of detail and accuracy, and should you want to add I.R. gear to your new release Dragon ( the old moulds in the Night Fighting Panther from Dragon have been eclipsed with the new generation of Panther from Dragon) or non-steel wheeled Tamiya Panther, this set is just what you need.

Blast are on of the best resin producers there is, as the casting is always of the highest quality in any set they produce, and this set easily lives up to that reputation. With intricate detail accurately represented on all of the parts, there is nothing in this set that could be faulted in any way. After a look through the Speilberger Panther book comparing images and diagrams with resin parts, this set measures up rather nicely indeed! Every conceivable detail has been covered, from the unit on the interior of the drivers compartment, to the modified rear stowage bin.

The instructions are clear enough, and use photographs to illustrate the assembly process, and graphically display where the various parts end up on the Panther, although if you couldn't gather that from the pictures, I would be very surprised.

By the end of the war nearly 1000 I.R. units were produced although due to the shortage of tanks and petrol, the widespread operational use of the I.R system was never realised. However, with the release of an increasing amount of "Paper Panzers" by companies like Trumpeter, this set is an essentail addition to a convincing "Panzer '46" model in my opinion. With the relentless onslaught from Allied aviaition during the day, it is no secret that the German High Command planned on moving to night operations on a large scale.

I give this detail set the highest recommendation, as it is simply fantastic!

Newly released by Accurate Armour is this stowage detailing set designed to be used with the Bronco kits although I am sure that it will also work perfectly well with the Iateri model also.

Cast to the high standards we have come to expect from this Scottish resin producer and armour kit and accessory stockist, this set contains several items of stowage that will greatly enhance the finished appearance of the model. Well detailed, each part is expertly crafted and produced, and fills just about the only void left by the excellent multi-media Bronco kit.

As you can see by the accompanying photographs there is a wide variety of items to choose from including POW cans, Rolls and Ammunition Containers.

As with any product from the excellent and extensive Accurate Armour range I strongly recommend this set for anyone building or intending to build either the Bronco or Italeri kits.
