| Radub Productions RB-P32006 1/32 Luftwaffe seatbelts
This is a quick evening build of Radu's excellent 1/32 scale Luftwaffe
seatbelts! I used the German stick glue "UHU" to assemble these
according to the instructions and was rewarded with a beautiful set of
accurate and authentic looking Luftwaffe seatbelts!! The set includes a
photoetch fret that contains all the small buckles and braces for the
lap and shoulder harnesses.
The straps are also included as well as the
leather lap belts and all are precut, making assembly extremely easy
and accurate. The instructions indicate the assembly sequence which is
rather easy once you study the instructions and parts
I highly recommend these to anybody who is looking to improve the accuracy and detail of their large scale Luftwaffe builds! A big 5 out of 5 stars for this simple, yet effective detail set! Thanks Radu!
Cheers Alan Troi

| Zactomodels Mig-29 Exhaust detail set (No Product Code Available) For Trumpeter kits By Jay laverty
November 2008
Any regular visitor to Aircraft Resource Centre will be very familiar with the work of Chris Wilson aka. “Zactoman” and the superb line of resin detail sets he produces under the Zactomodels moniker. With superb detail sets already available for the Trumpeter Su-27, A-7 Corsair II, and the F-100, we are now treated to some superb exhausts for the Trumpeter Mig-29. Boasting a level of detail that can only be marvelled at, the set comprises 6 resin parts that make up the internal and external tail-cones, along with a jig to precisely form the two photo-etched components for the turbine fans. The instructions are well illustrated and simple to follow, leaving no detail out, including the proper alignment of the “feathers” with the tail-cones. Yet another stunning and useful release form Zactomodels.

| Mastercatsers 1/32 scale RAF pilot. MST32028 By John Wilkes February 2008
Over the years I have been one person who has always believed that a figure with your models make all the difference and gives it a feel of being a miniature of life instead of being just another plastic representation of an aircraft. When ever I did a modern RAF aircraft I was always stumped as there were very few RAF Pilots available and what was out there was either old and I had used it or it wasn’t that good.
When Mastercasters announced the imminent release of their new line of figures in 1/32 scale I found myself watching their website intently awaiting the arrival of their new line. One of the first batch was this RAF pilot in Immersion suit and he will be suitable for most modern RAF Jets. The sculpting is by Jim Raynor and the poses are dynamic instead of just sat holding the control stick or throttle. When these figures landed on the door step I took some time to look over them, They are cast in a light grey resin which showed no signs of air bubbles or warping. Technically the RAF pilot seems a little thin especially with the full immersion suit over his G pants and thermal underwear, however, this does not detract form the subject matter and I believe I am right in saying that this is the first 32 scale figure in this type of flying suit. He is wearing the later 1980’s to 90’s helmet so he could easily go with a multitude of aircraft which are operating over water. The six parts that go to make him are very simple to remove from the casting block and construct in a matter of a few minutes. I had to use a little filler on the arm joints but that was about it. The Oxygen mask and hoses are delicate and I found they were flexible enough to bend to a slightly more natural position instead of the way it is represented in the kit. A couple of evenings painting and I had a pleasing result which I am sure will be used in the future to add life to one of my projects. All in all I can recommend the RAF pilot and am currently working on the next two for review. As there were no instructions with the figure I searched the web and found suitable photographs to use as reference in a matter of minutes. Well done to Mastercasters for being so bold to tackle such subjects which are sadly overlooked by others. The map used in the knee pocket was copied from the web onto light weight paper and stuck with thin PVA glue then just coated with a gloss to represent the acetate covering on the real thing.
The figures retail for £8.95 through the MasterCasters website or any stockists of MasterCasters products.

| Zactomodels 1:32 A-7 Corsair II Correction set & 1:32 A-7 Corsair II Seamless Intakes set Preview by Jay Laverty Anyone who has the Zactomodels Su-27 correction sets in their collection will be able to attest to thje quality of products produced by Chris Wilson. I have all three sets for my Trumpeter Su-27, and while many will argue that aftermarket detail sets are not really necessary (my attitude is to each his own, and if you want to build models without them, then you are not wrong, but neither are you wrong to want to do so!) these sets make a pronounced and very obvious difference. The next aircraft to receive the “Zacto-treatment” has been the Trumpeter A-7 Corsair II, after being pretty badly mauled in the modelling press and on the forums. Taking matters into his own hands, Chris has focused his considerable talents into correcting the glaring errors in the Trumpeter kit, and in doing so has produced a pair of sets that will radically change the appearance of the model and improve it immensely. It is not until you look at the correction set in place alongside the Trumpeter kit, that the “flat” profile of the canopy becomes obvious, and the oddly shaped profiles of the nose and intake make themselves apparent. This set very adeptly addresses this problem. Cast in high quality resin, to an extremely high standard, there are no air bubbles obvious anywhere on the surface of the parts, and the detail is as intricately represented as any part of the Su-27 sets. There is just about s much intricately represented detail covering all of the 6 resin parts as can be expected from human hands, and the set also includes a very nicely done photoetched set to detail the canopy with that requires no cutting.
1:32 A-7 Corsair II Seamless Intakes set
The Seamless intake is equally well executed in terms of detail and quality of casting, and just as simple to use. With equally clear and concise instructions, this set will prove as much of an asset to your 32nd SLUF build as the Correction set. The intakes come cast in white resin, so you can forgo painting the interior, although you may want to paint it just to ensure consistency of colours throughout.
Overall this is yet another fantastic release from a guy who has established an impeccable and well deserved reputation for quality and detail when it comes to aftermarket sets, and I personally recommend these two sets very highly. By having a look at the Zactomodels website you will see Chris is currently cooking up a full kit of the YF-23 in 1:32nd scale so this is something very exciting indeed!

| MasterCasters:
P-47 Cowling Flaps & Wheel Wells (MST 32019)
MasterCasters:
P-47 Weighted Wheels and Undercarriage (MST 32018 & 32020)
Sehr empfehlenswert!
